Xaolanda, Founder & CEO
Xaolanda is the Founder and CEO of MerTyX Counseling & Consulting, a mission-driven organization established to expand access to mental health and life-support services for individuals and communities often overlooked by traditional systems of care. A disabled veteran, Xaolanda developed her foundation in mental health while serving in the military, where she supported service members navigating trauma, high-stress environments, and major life transitions. Those experiences revealed critical gaps in long-term support—particularly for veterans and foster-involved individuals once formal systems disengage. After separating from the military, Xaolanda made a deliberate decision to build infrastructure rather than immediately enter civilian practice. She founded MerTyX Counseling & Consulting as a strategic platform—one designed to bridge service, advocacy, and future clinical operations—while she continues working toward full civilian practice. Beyond organizational leadership, Xaolanda is deeply committed to volunteering with foster youth and advocating for disabled veterans, aligning her professional mission with populations she has personally served alongside. Her work centers on accountability, access, and sustainability—ensuring support systems are intentional, ethical, and built to last. As a founder, Xaolanda leads with discipline, clarity, and purpose, focused on developing systems that do more than exist on paper. Through MerTyX, she is laying the groundwork for impact-driven services that meet people where they are—and remain present when others step away
